The Crags is a beautiful rural area, between Plettenberg Bay and Nature’s Valley in the Garden Route of South Africa. It is well-known for its indigenous forests and proximity to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Garden Route and, indeed, South Africa. The Crags is best known for its Animal Sanctuaries, but is also home to many farmers, artists and nature-lovers, many of whom offer short-term accommodation in self-catering cottages, bed and breakfasts and guest houses.
Keurbooms Strand is a short distance between The Crags and Plettenberg Bay and is a long-standing favourite beach destination for South African families because of its beautiful long beaches and outstanding views. Dolphins and whales are frequently sighted.
We offer two cottages in Askop Road in The Crags overlooking the indigenous forests and one in Keurbooms Strand, overlooking the sea.

Thank you for a lovely stay in your comfortable house. We especially loved the spectacular view over the sea - we saw whales on the day we arrived a lots of dolphins on our last day. The beaches (and the whole area) are pristine and safe and we went for many beautiful walks. Highly recommended!

Cute hidden gem in a great area for hiking, beaches, and birding. Super nice self-catering cottage with absolutely everything you need! Good kitchen facilities, satisfactory wifi, and a TV with plenty of channels.
